I have a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SB1394 model SB0090. If I place it in a PCI slot the PC doesn't 'beep' as it should, not does any display come. It can't be not enough WATTS in the PSU as it's 400W and I have taken all fans except CPU and everything else out but the necessary bits, still no beep or anything.

Anyone got an idea on what could be the issue? Thanks.

The PC beeps when it's going to load, I left it for an hour yesterday without beeping and it still stayed black. The PCI is in fine, when I try to boot up the PC the display appears black and it doesn't come up with motherboard information or whatever.

Nope, but it worked before apparently. I got it all from my dad and he said he used it in another PC and it worked fine.

Ohh, yeah it boots fine without the PCI plugged in. I thought you ment with the extra controller thingy I have. It doesn't boot with the PCI in, tried other PCI ports too.
