I know CPU socket and RAM speeds and max capacity. But what else is to look out for on a motherboard?

Also if someone could find me a decent ATX one that's got an Intel 1155 socket, I would be most thankful.

    EDIT:

    Intel VS AMD ??

I would go for Intel, but these days it doens't matter anymore what you pick, AMD = Intel

Intel is still much faster than AMD, and runs a lot cooler.

Even the new FX processors can't compare to an i5/i7...

Anyway, all you really need to look out for is the brand, amount of expansion slots (If you think you're going to do dual graphics cards, get one with 2 PCIe x16 slots), the quality of it (Not the $50 one!)

A good quality one (Somebody I know bought it, and they love it) would be Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Great price, great features, dual PCIe slots.

If you don't want that, simply look for the following brands: ASRock, Gigabyte, Asus, Intel
    Stay away from: Biostar, MSI

Now I kind of wish I got a full size motherboard

That motherboard is a bit expensive, I'm kinda on a low budget until I can find a job. I most likely wont be needing dual graphics cards. Most games should run a 60+ fps and not drop below with a decent card so there's no need for more power imo.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813157279 would that one be any good?

That'll work, I have an ASRock Micro ATX, even then I still wish I had a full size because everything is a little bit tight

And yeah, I run MW3 etc at 60 FPS no problem on my 560 Ti

What would be a decent graphics card which isn't too expensive?

Probably an ATI card then, I forget which but they have a good card which is pretty much the same as the 560 Ti for $100 less

You can get a Gainward 560 SE for 105 or an ATI 7770 for 105-ish or ATI 6770 Vapor-X Edition for 99. But seeming most games that people play are nVidia optimized, it wouldn't be worth buying ATI, right?
