    Hi everyone,

Later today I will be receiving my Apple laptop, and I wanted to know what are some useful things to get ahead of time. Please share below.

Could anyone fill me in on "Bootcamp" thanks

Nothing special is needed for those, there is a web server that comes with the mac out of the box so you'd be able to jump right into projects relatively quickly (I've only done prep for Laravel so I don't know how Zend would differ)

Bootcamp allows for you to have both operating systems running on the device (as far as I know not simultaneously - but I could be wrong). Or are there other questions you have?

As far as Java goes, once you have an IDE that can compile the classes, you're pretty much running with all of those listed.

If it's the first time you have used the Mac OS X then I suggest you get familiar with keyboard shortcuts, they are extremely useful. When you get the mac just go over some of the bindings and get familiar, gl.
