Upon installation you will lose all your files even if you choose to 'upgrade'.

been using final build since yesterday morning. first thing to go was the search bar in the task bar, absolutely sucks, next dislike is the open program highlighting

No point, Windows 10 is noticeably faster than all other versions so I'd rather use it as a primary.

I do this already, seems fine on my Desktop, however my Laptop is running into big issues with updating.

I have a feeling you disabled fast startup on Windows 8(.1). Otherwise, you'd get boot times much closer to Windows 10.

The only time I disabled fast startup was when I was installing Windows 10.

Which reminds me, the final build became available for me on Friday night on my Laptop (not sure why it got updated way after my PC) it seems to be a worse experience on my laptop than desktop now.
