Lately we have had some major downtime. This is due to attacks from people. We cannot control attacks, just prevent them. We do our best to ensure the website remains on. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

All Moderator logs have been pruned. The prune took place on November 5th 2008. That was 50,000 logs deleted. It's a fresh start. Yeah, I lost like 8000 logs, but eh.

A new image resizing mod has been added. It's useful!

I prepared a quick graph in excel with the moderator logs of the whole staff team. It shows the moderator, and the number of moderator logs since the prune on the 5th of November. Review the graph and reflect on the decision you made, if you would make any changes, etc.




My Reflections

It's ironic, because I thought the Global mod and Forum mod that won, wouldn't win. I thought they would have accumulated a far lower amount than they actually did. No offense to the winners though, congratulations. You must be doing something right.

In Other News...

The infractions have been edited to match the new rules. Make sure you review the rules. Don't get caught unexpectedly, unknowingly breaking a rule.

I sent a few of our members a private message regarding their signatures. They were far to large. Please be sure to keep simple, small signatures. Don't make them very long - it stretches the page.

I will be creating a thread, "What would you like to see?". It will be asking you for the main suggestion that you would like added the most. It will help me decide what updates need to be done.

Something new is headed our way I won't be saying more.

Such low moderator logs for several mods and their still in their posistion. Im suprised. I guess its not all logs tho.

Thats one weird outcome if all the people chosen had the smallest logs. (Apart from andrew)

A 5 day log period isn't worth judging guys.

Although I pruned many boards which made my mod log go shooting up, I was getting around 400 logs every two days on average.

Its true, you probably won't see AS accurate results as you would if you wait for a longer time after the prune, but from what I had seen before the prune, they are fairly accurate. Some aspects are not though.

Yeah pruning isn't really necessary thought.
And in my case my section never gets spam and people rarely argue in it so I just really need to keep answering any computer related questions and posting relevant topics

I wasn't the one who pruned it. Kevin pruned them. Perhaps they were also causing lag on the forums. I'm sure he had good reasoning behind it.
