My knee has dislocated 3-4 times by playing football or just running. I has been to the doctor the first time and there was nothing wrong, but it kept happening, and I recovered quicker after each time.

My question is, would knee pads work? Anyone having this problem too?

I dont think so. Arnt knee pads just to absorb impact ?
If you were running or whatever it would be accumulated pressure rather than an impact :/ But its worth going to like physiotherapy or something imo

I have the same problem. I play a lot of Football/Soccer, and some of the tackled have almost crushed my knee cap. I went to the doctors and they said everything was fine, but now and then it still hurts.
My advice would be to go to a specialist.

Exact the same problem here. They've told me everything is fine and then it kept happening again and again. I've been at doctor and they've send me to a so called "recover-gymnast" been there, doing the exercises but didn't help.

Doctors are hopeless. I've been going to his guy who specializes in joints and I have been recovering.

Yeah, I've been doing that too, warming up before each training etc.. but once we had a game againts another team, I jumped up for the ball, then I don't even know what happened but I was down with the knee dislocated and then it straight got back right again.
