Tried my hand at smudging (this is my first smudge), here's the outcome:

Thoughts? Anything I could change/add to make it better?

Ye ^, it's really really sharp, and the left side of it looks empty, compared to the right with the red smudge. But, I like the lines, what kind of brush and size/settings did you use?

I like it, but like above it's sharp; I've done alot of work with the same render.

Yeah, I did sharpen it 3 times to give it a sharp effect. It looks better sharp than it did smooth. It didn't flow very well, the sharpen did improve the piece imo. Thanks

Ah thanks, I'll try to fill the left side (or make sure I do it on my next smudge), it was a few brushes, most of them were soft brushes with 90% opacity.

Like mentioned above the piece should have been less sharp. The sharpness causes the render to look LQ. The smudging concept is nice, outcome could be a bit better though (I would also add a more subtle smudge with a smaller brush with less strength).

    Keep up the work!
