wouldnt offshore hosting do wonders?

If you were to load a client jar onto the player's computer through an applet loader which retrieves the jar with a P2P protocol from other players or in the worst case from a tiny webspace somewhere idk where, in order for the player to run the jar directly or let the applet run the (newly) downloaded jar in the browser, would you be safe from any DMCA enforcement?
I've been thinking of ways to work around the DMCA and from what I can read there are no real 'safe' countries that guarantee they don't enforce the DMCA or similar laws.
Do you have any other good ways to work around the DMCA? And yes I know the DMCA is strictly a U.S. enforced law, but most other countries have similar laws for copyright protection.

No idea lol. problem with hosting webclient is you hosting propriety thats not urs. Running it by an applet on your machine shouldn't be problem(anyway im not expert so dunno).
what we did was buy a small host, separate from the host with site/server.
then we hosted the jar and webclient html on that host.
then iframe the webclient html page to ur site/server.
then if jagex DMCA's the small host, we just buy another.
Dementhium used to be hosted from the Netherlands and I encountered no problems but I can't assure anything
Anyways look into this thread
