Hello everyone. No matter what 508+ client i download... i keep getting an error_game_js5connect error. How do i fix this? Sometimes it will say js5io or something instead as well.

Okay, i just downloaded a 508 ip changer, and it started to work but then it got stuck at Connecting Updates - 2% or something like that. And now it says js5io. But the source im running is up...
Help? And the source i downloaded didn't have a client so yeah... Im using a 508 ip changer client and a 508 source loading 525's.
maybe use a 508/525 client?
make sure your source/server is running on port 43594 and then try loading up your client.
the client isn't connecting to the server.
change the ip on the client to either "0.0.0.0" or "127.0.0.1"
also, be sure to compile.
Download a 508/525 client.
Make sure server & client are port 43594
Compiled?
Run?
Does it say its online?
Good, now load your client.

My current work:
NVM your client is loading a 525 cache. you need to go back and redownload the client that came with the cache and use that.
you still need to make sure your server is running though.
You have the cache in your c:\... right? /fp
