I was thinking what is the "best" source, which does not have alot of glitches, bugs etc. and of course no dupes. I would recommend somekinda spawn server

Also what is the best place to buy a vps for rsps?

Any Pi source has 0 glitches. For 0 dupes go for Dementhium. (Kidding >.>)

In regards to the VPS; If you have experience with Linux/Unix systems I'd highly recommend somewhere like DigitalOcean for its prices and deals.

However, if you don't really have that much experience then in my opinion TrentaHost is the best for RSPS'.

Probably gonna buy the digitalocean $10 plan, 1gb ram.

But you know any good sources? I know PI is very buggy not to mentino dupes.

This is 503+, so i assume you're looking for higher revisions; there's matrix sources that don't have much dupes, or easy-to-fix ones.

As Joris stated, Matrix is pretty good to start with. What's your experience with programming?

Trentahost is not good for vps's. There downtime is actually rather alot compared to other sites. I've had alot of issues with trenta host. My VPS has been down for a whole day, maybe 2-3 days at certain times due to them.

Take a look at Linode. The server hardware is absolutely essentially, especially if you want your server to be something big in the future, and Linode is proven to perform. Although I have never hosted an RSPS with it, I am willing to bet that since every package is powered by an SSD and running on Linux, you will probably have a wonderful experience.

In terms of server software, it depends on your level of experience. If you really just want to get a server going quickly and easily, there are many packages available in the Downloads sections that come with lots of features already built-in, and it should not take long for someone somewhat fluent in computer programming to break down what they need to do in order to tweak and change. If you want a more full experience, and would like to learn how it all works, this would still be a great start, but then perhaps you will want to move onto either just a "framework" (which is sort of just a buzzword for a server with little to no frontend content), or you may want to start from the ground up yourself. Keep in mind which revision your server is compatible with, and ensure you grab a client which matches.
