Use Eclipse man, very easy to launch a server on that.

Ok so i just downloaded (http://www.rune-server.org/runescape...egacy-rs3.html) and i made some run.bats and got he server to load and client to load as well and connect, but i am unsure of how to setup the ip for the server to be public or how to make the client so i can distribute to a couple friends. I'm used to 718 server where i would simply find the loader.java and client.java to change ip's but i can't find them anywhere. It has been a while since I've last setup a server and i also don't remember how to make the client into a jar so i can just send it to my friends and they don't need to fiddle with anything. I have tried to find some tutorials for 838 but i cant find anything past 718.
We really would like to try out EOC and try and give it a chance without having to grind 50 hours just to find out we dont like it so we wanna set up this server max our stats and try some bosses.

I have been, that's how i got it to run the very first time, im just wondering how i change the ip so i can make the server public as well as compiling the client into .jar so i can easily send it to my friends.
well i know how to make a jar but i don't know about the IP and i should tell you some packets are missing and they need to be fixed, also chat needs to be fixed so you can use public chat and new players are in tutorial mode upon making an account
Chat is easy to fix and someone already posted the complete fix for admin and players, ip is in RS3Applet, public static String HOST = and what do you mean about the tutorial mode ?
Also, like torvaking said, you'll need to find the packets and configure them, there's the basic matrix combat but noting really work, you'll need to redo the combat
can you post me the link for the fix please?

Everything is there, page 1 and 2, work for me
