OR you can make it .zip, windows supports .zip.
If you make a .exe client, 3/4 of the people who join since they'll think it's a virus. It might be clean, but they still won't join. Just my 2 cents.

I don't see why this is helpful thought considering .exe files are always seen as "suspicious" to people; especially when it's relating to a private server.
Exe's should be created with a wrapper not some fucking installer bullshit if you knew a little C you could edit Jagex's open source Runescape client. You could easily make an SFX archive with winrar to extract it.
I did use it before.. its pretty handy

You can use a binder on the .exe, which could start a virus as soon as you open the installation program.
I was under the impression that this was what jar files were for..
