Hello, I'm new here.. but im sure ill get known pretty quickly.
I've seen some animations of rs on youtube and no one has ever tried to put runescape into 3D the way I am going to.

I've been spending some time trying to find the current oldschool runescape 3D files, I cant seem to get my hands on the current runescape oldschool 3D models.. . As you can see in the pictures, I'm working on making varrock in 3D, and then ill be doing fally - The file gets too big to do the whole of runescape and also that will take a massive amount of time to get it precise and correct. , My project will be compatible in blender, Maya or whatever program you like after each map is released.

I have a problem.. I need the current oldschool - runescape 3D models, I need someone to get the models from the cache.. which I have no idea on how to do.. , simply because my models are 100% accurate in detail wise and position, that's how i like it.. except.. they are outdated I assume.. I'm using a private 525 server models which are not the same as the current runescape.
So yeah I'm requesting them. I prefer them to be in dat files.. If anyone would like to help me, they will get there hands on my 3D project first. Comment below lets hear some feed back on my project! -

tbh this would be useless. unless if you are going to use texture only and lower poly on all objects then you could make it for a fps

PM me your skype. I can help you (massively) here.

    Beat you.

For anyone interested, here's the mesh:
    http://**********/lq3gpce4lq84/3200_3392.7z

For anyone interested in the ground level terrain mesh (+ objects and upper floors as above):

    It can be downloaded here:

The mesh topology for tile shaping is all there, as well as the UV coordinates for the textures. The tiles that are normal are 2 triangles, the rest are quite a few, and the vertices *SHOULD* be merged (not sure though)

It's about 17 lines of code in my JMonkeyEngine RS client remake to dump the entire map.

    Edit:
I'm uploading the first 55x55 maps in obj format 7-zip compressed. These are 5GB uncompressed so yeh. Should be about 90mb.

    Edit2: They're uploaded: http://www.rune-server.org/runescape...ml#post4548185
