Hi, This is a basic tool to merge maps and the map index from one client to another.
The purpose of this is to be able to edit with peters map editor on his own cache then transfer to your own.
UppIT - Free File Sharing - Map_Merger.jar
The controls are quite simple, but heres a guide to using it.
Click on 'Load Source' in the top left and load the cache which has the maps you want to transfer. [[YOU HAVE TO PICK THE CACHE FOLDER, NOT THE MAIN .DAT]]
Click 'Load Destination' in the top right and select the cache folder you want to transfer them to.
To transfer all maps from cache A to cache B, click 'Transfer All Maps'. It's also a good idea to click 'Transfer Map Index' after this.
To transfer a single map, enter the id in the 2 boxes (or enter the id in the first box and in the second enter a different id to make it go to a different file) and click Merge.
That's pretty much all there is to it.
This is obfuscated. That doesn't mean that there's a virus in it, It just means that I know what this community is like.

Tom - Handy library.. or I think it was meant to be a library :3
Me - Making the actual tool, adding on to library, suppressing failures in library.
Oh nice, thanks
So you take stuff from an open source project and release it as not open source.
"I know what this community is like"...
:3 I didn't take anything from the source of Tom's Cache Suite, I used the closed source stuff IE. the actual cache modding stuff. Where did I say I used his source?
If you have a look, Com.jagex is the package which I used, and that's the only bit which has no source.
my cache is big and im loading 634 maps can u help me use this it liek freezes
after I merged my maps, and I opened my client it says on the batch.file "PANIC RANDOMISED BLOCK!" what does this standfor?
CRC file error IIRC (CRC file doesn't match the maps)
