Why aren't you with RSPS anymore? Aren't you the person who made Pheonix? That was a good framework!

Would it be possible to get a upload to somewhere other than uppit? Thank you very much this sounds exactly what i was looking for.
Good old days..
did u just steal mod reachs welcome message =p
If you're just now picking up the hobby and have only the most basic of programming skills then diving head first into an asynchronous framework might hurt a bit. It is very reasonable to say that Asteria would be a better choice, but it is also reasonable to say that some beginners do not posses the skills required to grasp the concurrency, design, and polymorphic approach a framework like that offers. As stated above, my sole purpose for posting this was simply because I figured someone might find it useful, even if it is just peeling a few snippets off of it. I very rarely frequent these forums and I believe i even stated in the thread that better options are likely available, but to each his own.
Yeah, I liked it so I used it as a default while the server was in development..
I took three years of programming courses at a local community college, for the first two years I was enthusiastic and even programmed at home very frequently. When my third year started I suddenly lost the passion, after working real world jobs and watching my code answer to a sales team I decided the career wasn't for me . Starting in the fall i'll be studying environmental sciences at the University Of Toledo.
Run it in Eclipse or a similar IDE, just manually set the command line arguments.
No, it has nothing to do with concurrency, design or polymorph. Asteria is way better documented, to be more specific EVERYTHING is documented pretty decent. This would make people even better understanding than ever, that's like they learn the 317 protocol only by reading the documentary, and this is by far the biggest achievement ever achieved in the history of rs-ps; a very well documented- and written source which everyone can access. I'd like to thank lare96 again for making such a good source open-source man, that is totally not for granted.
Conclusion: With asteria you can learn the whole protocol with no big problems, plus it's using java 8 technology (lambdas etc.) so you're even better on learning new shit with asteria. This is not a good choice, this is rather for intermediate programmers who'd like to learn some extra stuff or beginners to rip some stuff (imo). Go make your own view and check it out. https://github.com/lare96/asteria-3.0
This is no offense btw, I'm still grateful for the source.
