    Information:
Well, I'm not sure if many people have heard of it, but I created a program called Character Manager for the Mopar community (don't hate, at the time, I didn't know about Rune-Server).

If you are unfamiliar with the program, here is a picture of it:

Well I abandon the project, and started working on other things (unrelated to private servers). But now, I'm back, and I want to start working on the project again. Instead of just making a character manager, I'm going to make a full server tool kit. I know your thinking "we don't really need another crappy server tool kit", but I can assure you mine will be much different than any other server tool kit that there already is.

Anyway, to the point of this post, I need some help from private server developers, owners, or whatever you feel like calling your self. Because this toolkit will only be for flat-file (non-sql) servers, I need to collect a few variations of character files. I'm not a private server guru, I really only know how character files work on my own server. So I have a request for anyone who'd like to help me out.

Most server bases follow a general character file format; like this:
    http://pastebin.com/f6c5f9d1

If your character files aren't in the same format of the one I posted above, could you make a sample character and upload Character File and More Info file to PasteBin. Post the addresses here and also provide me with the name of your server base. If you don't trust me (for whatever reason...) with that kind of information then don't even post.

Remember, this is only for non-sql servers!

I'll have more information and some sneak peek screen shots once I get some more data.

    Thanks!

    I like it.

    Good Job.

Hope to see it develop more.

Love the layout in the image.

I like feedback, but I really need the information I'm asking for to continue

Are there any server bases that have different character file layouts?
I've never touched 5XX servers, do they have different character file layouts than older servers?

    Oh that sucks.
I know exactly how you feel.

@ your question: RS2E player saves are .DAT files made from a serialized class, I'm not sure they can be loaded as plain text..Although they could probably be loaded and then printed, but I'm not sure how that would look; I've never tried.

There is such a need for a uniformed private server format ---
