As much as I try to stay away from being affiliated with the name RuneLive/E-RSPS/EuroScape PK I always find my self coming back to it one way or another, it wasn't my intentions to recreate RuneLive, but after high demand I've decided to remake it.
Don't you have the original source still?
I do have the original source hidden away somewhere, but it's utter shit, everything shoved into processes, the client is mostly done by hardcoding the lot (maps, anims, gfx, npc's and items), half a dozen things which could be loaded easily compared to nowadays.
What made RuneLive so special?
RuneLive was the first RSPS I owned, untill Afflicti0n came along and ruined it, I felt proud of our player base and in 2009 it had one of the best communities, nice players, active wilderness and market area was really great to see on an RSPS.
How do I plan on making a remake of an old RSPS fit into the current style of RSPS?
Graardor will have competitive features like other RSPS do to keep it near the top of the RSPS scene it will have an okay economy, Summoning, newish content and be ran correctly one of the main failures in 2009 was that it was a pay to win server, well this time it's not clear whether it will be, but I want to make sure donators don't have too much of an advantage over players, unlike last time Skills will make a difference within the server.
Customizability
I understand users will want to play in original RuneLive graphics (474) with the additional dragon claws etc, after speaking to our old community members, it became quite clear that alot of them also liked the 525 update we did near the end of 2009 and even some preffer the newest graphics, so we're going to be implementing data toggling from 474, 508 & 667.
