Probably not worth a show-off at all but meh.
Basically just implemented a class for file reading i had to write for my java class in school, with a few adjustments.
Working on fixing it up to be able to search through the entire character information for offline players.
This currently only finds a few pieces of information in the character files.
Basically when you login the first time you'll receive the recovery code, and if you ever need to recover the account you just enter the username and id and it's all yours.
I know this is pretty basic also, but i thought it would be a decent feature in a game, especially for things like staff members needing to view a certain players information while he's offline without having to go through the character files.

Nice idea, I think Emps-Scape has something like this in their server. Still a useful thing to have.

Thanks, probably going to release it once i finish the entire system for character file searching, no point in not releasing it, im not really interested in hosting.
Not bad for a first showoff, you might want to make it so that you set your password on recovery instead of having it revealed, as that might be a security issue.
Might just do that, do you mean like have something like a user-set recovery question on the first login to recover the account?
