    So, It took me awhile to get it down, however I've finally completed my forum integration in which the server checks the database remotely.
    I also took the time to setup the login screen using all of the information from my forums :3

    Not much, but I'm proud of it.

    Easy, Christian.
    MySQL and knowing the packets to send, that's about it. But good job \o/

    I know back when RS still used that login screen, the icons on the left and right of the bottom banner used to change daily/weekly. Do you plan on keeping those icons static or will they be loaded on certain occasions? Perhaps for specific events like holidays it can be edited to represent that time/event? Just some thoughts, good work.

    making them change wouldnt be a problem if he got this far already.
    ot:
    Has been seen before, still brilliant.
    You should setup where the player must login with their emails and have them signed up at the forum when logging in with a new email. And the other way around on the forum to where they sign up and automatically has an account for that specific email.
    Force them to activate their accounts via their email in order to play. That way you'll have an ever better way to prevent exchanging of starter kits, etc.
    You could also add it to your forum where the user creates and manages their ingame accounts via ucp.
    Example;

    • Account(s):
    • Linus (Level 126) [Edit] [Remove]
    • Linus pure (Level 89) [Edit] [Remove]

    I really like the second option, as I could create a game-account table that is linked to the main-account table in the forums. I'm not going to worry about something like that right now, but it's a great idea and I know how to do it.
    I didn't want the users to have to verify the e-mail, because it makes it so much more difficult for people to actually start playing. Most people don't want to take the two minutes to make an account.
    Exchanging of starter kits shouldn't be a problem as you can only make 4 forum accounts per IP, also if the use a proxy to continue doing so, it won't really matter either. The starter on my server is relatively low and literally a starter, not something like 5m

    Tis true, but that also renders it easy for griefers to create accounts.
