People are free to upload wherever they like, within reason, regardless of it being an inconvenience to you.

Uppit is very convenient and if you need files that have expired you are more than welcome to post in the Requests section(s).

Don't really see why it's the moderators responbility to enforce what site you upload content to?

Agreed; users can then decide to mirror on demand.

/No real need for site restrictions

I'm pretty sure a lot of people use uppit not knowing their link will expire if no one downloads it in a while. Uppit needs to have that type of information right above their upload button.

moderators have barely any activity in the rsps section and does not know the frustration we get when a download link is not working

just simply censor the word uppit it would be better for the community

this is a really big problem and its being taken lightly

    big mistake....

That's what the requests section is for. Closing this thread as well.

Just because we don't post doesn't mean we aren't actively moderating it lol.

and does not know the frustration we get when a download link is not working
We understand the frustration, the point is it's not our problem to deal with. Vent towards the person who uploaded it, or better yet mirror it yourself and provide mirrors in the comments.
