Ok, I know exactly what your problem is. I go across this everyday on servers etc. All you did was Zip the Cache. You want to Zip the Files not the folder.

YOur cache will end up looking like this:

when you want it to look like this...

    Here is what to do...
    1. Open your cache folder so you can see this.

    2. Click the Top Folder once
    3. HOLD SHIFT DOWN
    4. Click the Bottom file.
(All your files in there should be selected now.)
    5. Right click one them
    6. go to Send To> Compressed (Zipped) Folder

All those files will zip and the Zipped File will be in your cache folder.
    7. Upload that to dropbox and if you know what your doing... You can get it from here.

Simple but good for people that are confused on how to compress the cache!

As stated, this should be in the client section.

Besides, shouldn't we all be at a point where we should starting using actual protocol file servers instead of downloading and unzipping a cache file from a URL link?

    Look at the tutorial.

Do you really think people who need it are going to be even able to understand them, let alone implement them.

Which is why it should be a default feature in a source. It's a shame that even as PI is so popular, it will never contribute to the future of RSPS.

This won't always be the problem but it has eliminated one possibility.
