a database would be much better to use I wouldn't suggest mysql checkout postgres.
I use SQL Server 2008 R2 with my server works like a charm.
easy, sql
sql as its more flexible
MySQL will be preferable for alot of reasons, obviously you don't want your web servers process to have write acces to the filesystem (except for possibly logging) because that is an easy way to get it exploited.
MySQL stores data into a database or it is actually a database while JSON stores data in a format to be passed from the server to the client.
MySQL is a database while JSON is not.
So my answer would be (My)SQL
Thanks. Now i using mysql for player saving. later i will add for npc's also.
